| Nomination of Presidential Electors |
Representatives of the Republican and Democratic Parties consisting of the elected state officers, holdover state senators and candidates for state senate and assembly nominated by the parties will convene at the state capitol building in Madison on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., as required by Wis. Stat. §8.18. The Republican Party of Wisconsin will meet in Room 415NW. The Democratic Party of Wisconsin will meet in Room 400NE. The purpose of the convention is for each party to nominate one presidential elector from each of Wisconsin’s eight congressional districts and two electors from the state at large. The lists of electors nominated for each party are attached below. |

The Government Accountability Board will select the reporting units to be audited by local election officials and the selection of the election contests as part of the post-election audit at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Offices of the Government Accountability Board, located at 212 East Washington Avenue, 3rd Floor, Madison, Wisconsin.
