|Electronic Poll Book Research & Recommendations - Final Report v3.pdf||557.25 KB|
In 2013, Government Accountability Board staff began researching and preparing for the potential use of electronic poll books in Wisconsin. This research report will be presented to the Government Accountability Board at its meeting on March 19, 2014, and is now available as an attachment to this memo (above) for your review and comment.
The report is also available as part of the Board's March meeting materials here: http://gab.wi.gov/about/meetings/2014/march, starting at page 7.
As election administration is a partnership between the Board and local election officials, Board staff would like to encourage county and municipal clerks to review this research memo and its recommendations, and to provide feedback to the Board. You can provide your feedback in-person by attending the Board meeting on March 19 or by sending your written comments to
with the subject “EPB Feedback”. Staff is recommending that the Board seek additional input regarding the development of more specific standards and other issues related to electronic poll books from clerks, vendors, and interested parties for a period of time following the meeting.
If you have questions, please contact the Help Desk at 608-261-2028 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your time and attention as the Board develops policies regarding this important issue.
