We recently released our “Building on the Basics” election administration webinar training series schedule. Due to positive feedback from county and municipal clerks regarding this method of training, we have developed a new webinar training series that focuses on the Statewide Voter Registration System.
Live Webinar access information and related materials will be posted under “Recent Clerk Communications” on the Monday prior to each webinar. You must be able to view videos on your computer, using a media application such as Windows Media Player and will be connected to audio using your computer’s speakers.
The webinar recording, related materials and a list of frequently asked questions will be posted shortly after the webcast. The programs and materials are free for you to download from our website or a disc may be ordered for a small fee: http://gab.wi.gov/node/2622. The live or recorded webcasts may be counted toward the hours clerks need for recertification purposes.
We will continue to explore education, training and outreach modalities that are effective, can be delivered at a reduced cost and will provide uniform instruction and training across the state. There are many data quality processes used to help ensure the accuracy of the voter registration list. This webinar will feature the many ways that clerks and the G.A.B. keep lists up to date, and will include information on the voter verification postcard process, HAVA checks and voter matching, and merging duplicate voters.

In this webinar we will discuss how to respond to SVRS data requests that you receive, both for SVRS providers and reliers. We will also address what information can be released, what information is confidential, and how to create the reports in SVRS. We will also be demonstrating the new automated data request site and online payment feature.
MyVote Wisconsin & Absentee Lite

This webinar will feature the MyVote Wisconsin website, as well as the systems that help support MyVote. We will cover Click and Mail, MyVote features for Military and Overseas Voters, and we will talk about the various utilities in SVRS and CRM that provide information to MyVote. We will also cover how to track Military and Overseas ballots using Absentee Lite in SVRS.
WEDCS & Canvass
March 19, 2014, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
In this webinar we will briefly review the new GAB-190F (for federal elections), GAB-190NF (for non-federal elections), the GAB-191 (election-specific cost report), the GAB-192 (annual election cost report), and the GAB-190 Help Guide. We will also discuss timelines and improvements to WEDCS. This webinar will also give an overview of the Canvass Reporting System and explain how municipalities can use the system for reporting and certifying local election results.
