On October 24, 2012, the Government Accountability Board conducted a webinar for Wisconsin law enforcement agencies to discuss law enforcement’s role in preparing for elections and on Election Day.
The webinar focused on rules for observers and advocacy groups inside and outside of polling locations, immediate investigation of alleged voter impersonation, regulation of concealed weapons at polling places, and contingency planning. Law enforcement was encouraged to consult with their municipal clerk regarding their role on Election Day. The webinar is one hour long and can be viewed at http://gab.wi.gov/publications/video/law-enforcement-role-election-day.
If you have questions regarding the webinar presentation, please contact Staff Counsel Michael Haas at (608) 266-0136 or via email at michael.haas@wi.gov. Thank you.
