2011-2012 Legislative Session - Lobbying Training Seminars Offered 

At the beginning of each legislative session, Government Accountability Board staff members offer training sesssions for lobbyists and members of lobbying organizations.  These training sessions cover registration and reporting requirements and prohibited practices as defined in Subchapter III, Chapter 13, Wisconsin Statutes.  Beginning Tuesday, January 4th, 2011, training sessions will be held at the Government Accountability Board offices, 212 E. Washington Ave, 3rd Floor, Madison, WI  53703.  

If a lobbyist or member of a lobbying organization would like to consult a Government Accountability Board staff member about meeting to discuss lobbying registration, reporting and prohibited practices, he or she can send an e-mail to GABEthics@wisconsin.gov or call 608-266-8005 and ask to speak with a lobbying specialist.  Staff will make every reasonable effort to accomodate the request.   We also encourage lobbyists and members of lobbying organizations to reference our guidelines and online tutorial (Microsoft PowerPoint) for futher lobbying information.
