Scheduled Training Sessions

General Lobbying Training

At the beginning of each legislative session, Government Accountability Board staff members offer training sessions for lobbyists and members of lobbying organizations.  These training sessions cover registration and reporting requirements and prohibited practices as defined in Subchapter III, Chapter 13, Wisconsin Statutes. 

Six training sessions were held at the Government Accountability Board offices in January and February 2013. No additional Lobbying Training sessions have been scheduled in 2013.

Individual Consultations

If a lobbyist or member of a lobbying organization would like to consult with a Government Accountability Board staff member to discuss lobbying registration, reporting and prohibited practices, he or she can send an e-mail to or call 608-266-8005 and ask to speak with a lobbying specialist.  Staff will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the request.
