- Incumbents are automatically on the ballot.
- Nomination papers for candidates were due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 10.
- The minimum number of signatures for Governor and Lt. Governor is 2,000.
- The minimum number of signatures for State Senate is 400.
- Candidates who have less than the required number of valid signatures have until 4:30 p.m. Friday to file correcting affidavits to rehabilitate any signatures struck by the staff.
See the "All Candidates Registered" report attachment below for the names of candidates. This list contains all the candidates who filed paperwork by the 5 p.m. Tuesday deadline. The list will be updated with the number of valid signatures each candidate filed.
Important notes about the report:
- Candidates who have filed paperwork will have dates in the columns for each of the documents required to be filed. (This information for incumbents will be blank.)
- Candidates who have filed nominating petitions will be listed as having “0” valid signatures until staff has finished reviewing the petitions.
- A listing of “0” signatures should not be construed as the candidate having filed insufficient signatures.
- The deadline for filing a Statement of Economic Interests (Ethics Board Statement) is 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 13.
The Nomination Paper Tracking and Supplemental Nomination Paper Tracking Reports attached below provide additional information about the status of nomination papers.
