About Redistricting in Wisconsin

In Wisconsin, responsibility for redrawing legislative and congressional district lines rests with the legislature.  The legislature is required to redraw legislative and congressional districts every 10years based upon the results of the decennial federal census.

The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board workings with county and municipal clerks to implement the legislature's new districts.

This page contains information for clerks and and the public to help understand and implement the new districts.
